• Manages all functions of the Conference and Banquet operations to achieve
the optimum departmental revenue targets

Conducts sales visits, telephone calls, writes letters, sends emails and extends
invitations to clients to visit the
hotel

• Analyses historical and other statistical
information

• Entertain clients with the object to secure
business or strengthen ties when required

• Keep closed
relationship with local governments and achieve business room,
catering

• Negotiate terms pertinent to the sale of
conference and banqueting services

• Conduct site
inspections and tour familiarizations

• Conduct client
interviews

• Attends trade shows and sells conference space when
directed
出席贸易展览和销售论坛
• Establish leads from newspapers, magazines,
relevant industry documents and follow up

Maintain a regular pattern of sales calls
进行规范的、高质量的销售拜访
• Maintain
regular contact with Dusit regional hotels and reservation
networks
与都喜区域酒店和预订网络经常保持联系
• Monitor competitor activities and use
information when developing strategies
随时监控竞争对手的活动并利用相关信息
• Develop and
maintain contact with business generations, meeting and convention planners,
visitors/convention Bureau/ travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate
accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to hotel
business
发展和维持与商务客户,会议策划者,会议机构,旅行社团组织,报价旅游承包商,航空公司,公司客户,政府机构和其它有可能成为酒店客户的制造商们的合同

Assist in the co-ordination of conference sales/promotional events and
activities
协助会议销售/促销协调员的活动
• Assist in the operation of banquet
functions
协助筹办社交宴会
• Liaise with Reservations for space allocation and
priority
与预订部沟通团队客房配额
• Conducts daily briefings and other meetings as
needed to obtain optimal results
开展每日简报和其他会议以获取最佳效果
• Handles
administrative works and keeps up-dated files on the following Conference
matters including:

• Liaise with the Purchasing
Manager for any purchases needed for the Event department & Catering
Sales
下采购单申购任何宴会活动所需的物料,特殊需求与采购经理沟通
• Liaise with the Graphic Department
and Print Shop or external agencies to produce art work and printed material
needed for the Conference department
• 联络市场传讯部美工主管或外部机构落实宴会会议所需的美工设计制作

Monitors local competitors and compare their operation with his/her
operation
• 关注并收集当地竞争酒店的推广与销售活动信息
• Solicits business and follow up on
referrals and potential sales leads
• 跟踪潜在生意机会
• Keeps aware of trends,
systems, practices and equipment in audio visual through trade literature, hotel
show and site visits

通过参加旅游推介会、酒店活动、参观酒店等方式,随时了解宴会会议市场动态及宴会会议设备设施的更新潮流
