1. General supervision of shift operation, all teammembers under his control and the allocation of work and distribution of theworkforce in accordance with instruction from the Chief Engineer.

2. Liaise with the Engineer in the department preventative maintenanceprogram and supervise the implementation during his duty.
与各主管联络，在本班内检查计划维保工作的进展情况。
3. Inspect and control the efficiency of all plants, associated system andequipment.
检查和控制所有机房、相关系统和设备的运转效率。
4. Recommend changes of equipment or procedures to achieve the highestpossible savings on operation and energy cost.

5. Maintain a Log Book of all occurrence during his watch.

6. Ensure smooth hand-over to the next shift team member and discuss actionto be taken with respect to uncompleted work and any special attentionrequired.

7. Make inspections of all areas of the building and grounds to ensuresafety operation; supervision of works in progress and notify defects to becorrected.

9. Assist in coordinating the work of contractors on the scheduled job.

10. Act as a fire chief during his duty. Be responsible for the hotel safety.
在本班次内全面负责酒店消防工作。
11. Supervise and inspect hotel department’s fire preventive works and takeproper measures to stop any violation of the fire prevention works.

12. Supervise and train technicians and apprentices in the correctperformance of their duties and development of skills and knowledge to preparethem for eligibility to high grades.
