Core Responsibilities: This role of Director of Technical Services will be responsible for matters related to, including, but not limited to the following:
• Before HMA contract stage: providing required support, including site visit, project evaluation comments, initial zoning program, etc.
• Design stage: making design brief to LDI/consultants, monitoring design schedule. Review and approve kinds of design packages, to ensure the drawings packages are in compliance with naked standards and operation requests. Attending daily design online / Owner/consultants office meetings.
• Construction stage:conduct on site point checking and prepare inspection reports, such as MUR, MEP concealed system, etc. Attending various online and site meetings with all stakeholders.
• Hand over stage: 1) Monitor project schedule. Coordinate with Owner to confirm Pre-Opening period, coordinate with naked internal team to complete OS&E/POB document. 2) Coordinate design and construction critical issues that relate to operation. Conduct onsite inspections. 3) Provide training to Ops team for Defects list preparation, handover process. per naked brand standard and future maintenance needs. Push and monitor site defects rectification work progress. 4) Coordinate with owner and GC for T&C, work with operations to complete a smooth handover process. 5) Monitoring and pushing for corresponding project inspection licenses/certifications. 6) Participation in Opening decision making.
Core Competencies & Technical skills: The ideal candidate will be able to:
1) With strong internal and external communication skills, be able to handle with Owners, and various external parties. Show the right personality when it comes to dealing with clients, consultants and other stakeholders.
2) Handle stress and work under pressure, an analytical mind and the capability of being able to write concise reports.
3) Having a high level of self-motivation, developing innovative options in the best interest of the development while possessing adaptability and good attitude, being orderly and having a systematic approach.
4) At least 5 years’ solid experience in a similar position, particularly in the field of hotel/resorts technical services, with MEP background is preferred.
5) Computer literacy in MS Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint) /AutoCAD.
6) A good command of written and spoken English.
Education/Certifications: • University degree preferably in MEP system or Architecture
