1. Directs andcontrols all subordinate engineering staff to ensure that all day to dayoperational matters are handled on time and that guest expectations are met.

2. Maintainsfacilities and equipment by conducting routine inspections and determiningappropriate rectification measures.

3. Maintainssystems to be able to handle day to day guest requests quickly and efficiently.

4. Assists in thepreparation of duty rosters, vacation plans and public holiday scheduling.

5. Ensures theimplementation and follow up of ongoing preventive maintenance programs.
