Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet with customers regualrly and handle catering sales calls and catering leads.
- Assist in handling important functions and support the Cantering Team and Sales Team in handling of large scale events.
- Ensure all enquiries are handled promptly and efficiently according to guidelines set by DOSM / DOS.
- Meet with key banquet customers to build relationship.
- Work with Room Sales Team to generate/ maximize revenue and F&B.
- Responsible for achieving budget and revenue generation.
- Responsible for revenue forecast and monthly critique based on the timeline set by DOSM.
- To provide training to the sales team in handling of events and in catering sales.
- Constant review of pricing and selling strategies to ensure that competitiveness of pricing and offer.
- Coordinate with F&B on all menus, packages and relay the information to sales team.
Job Requested
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a role of catering/ event sales experience in a five star international hotel .
- Fluent English both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of F&B operations and catering operations required.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to meet all expectations and standards of a international 5 star hotel.
- Must be self-reliant and self-motivator.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Must be able to multi-task in a high paced environment.
