SUMMARY OF POSITION
Senior Catering Sales Manager is responsible for business generation as it relates to prospecting and securing catering business and the planning & implementation of group events. Catering revenue is to be achieved in accordance with the goals and strategies outlined in the annual Marketing Plan and Hotel Catering Revenue Budget. Senior Catering Sales Managers are accountable for ensuring quotas and goals are met and to ensure that direct sales activities are focused on generating the highest possible Room RevPar and achieving F&B costs as well as achieving group organizers satisfaction for the overall hotel’s success. This position requires a high degree of independent judgment and discretion on decision making.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS
1.Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English/ Mandarin with good presentation skills.
2.College Degree or equivalent experience. Alternatively with hotel or tourism school certification.
3.Good personal & professional references.
4.Previous catering or sales related experience minimum 3 years with proven track record.
5.Strong selling and interpersonal skills.
6.High level of creativity and knowledge of F&B menus.
