ABOUT US  living Octave is a lifestyle company with a diverse set of real estate, hospitality, wellness and learning businesses that embrace a holistic approach to self-care and personal development.  We are committed to supporting our communities on their discovery of a conscious approach to living by facilitating programmes, providing wellness services and products in spaces that encourage a lifestyle of mindfulness and well being. At our centers, resorts and retreats, we offer programs and services based on the cultivation of mind-body wisdom and self-awareness.  Our programs, a blend of best practices in Eastern and Western traditions, enable individuals to more effectively manage the inevitable crossroads of life through an everyday dedication of improvement to your way of life with supportive tools for personal transformation. We are a new company born from IMC Group, a 100 year old family run business that was started in the early 1900s by the Tsao family.  The family started a successful transportation business along the banks of the Huangpu River, Shanghai, and has expanded its operations globally to include bases in Singapore and the United States. By the early 1930s, the business expanded to owning several entities in Big Industry, Financial Investment, Real Estate and Hospitality.  At the turn of the millennium, Fred Tsao, our current Group Chairman, began putting together plans for an extensive B2C business with the intention of giving back to society through the empowerment of self-awareness, a personal journey that has manifested into Octave’s vision today.  Hence, our “living Octave” lifestyle company was born on the wings of an extensive Real Estate and Hospitality business to ensure its capital growth beyond the core program.We will be launching living Octave, with our flagship urban centre in downtown Shanghai at the end of 4Q2013. This is a family-oriented club space for those who seek a healthy setting to thrive in the city.  Concurrently we are also developing a premium wellness destination retreat in Suzhou which will be ready for operations in 1Q2015. The retreat is an integrated resort development with 108 individually owned luxury villas and a 69 key luxury hotel.   Within the resort there are wellness SPA, Medi-SPA, Mind Body Center, F/B and Tea House outlet, an integrated medicine centre with health treatments and assessment services.  OUR VALUES      Octave's values are based on 5 main pillars:  Well-Being, Integrity, Community, Harmony, and Learning which represent the foundation of our business and why we operate.
