This position is concerned with coordinating the guest’s requirementsduring banquet functions and the general operations of the Banquet floor,commanding directly Banquet Captains, Waiters, supervising and coordinatingtheir work.

To evaluate with the Banquet Manager and Assistant Manager each eventorder received, as to function types, set up time and style, F&B requirements,audio visual requirements, manning and additional equipment needs, services andrequests.

To check each room on a daily basis, to ensure that all set ups arecompleted within the required time, and that all set ups are as per thestandards as laid down in the Banquet Service Policy.

To report discrepancies or guest complaints to the supervisor or Managerand Assistant Manager.

To ensure that all new trainees and service associate receive constantsupervision and updated training on service skills, whilst on the job. And thattheir progress is reported to the Banquet Service Manager on a regular basis.
