1.Working with the Director of Engineering and the team effectively plans the property maintenance programs covering all areas of the hotel.

2.Fosters and motivates talent by ensuring training is complete for section leaders and line colleagues in accordance with hotel requirements and brand regulations. Follows through with the section heads to confirm training is used effectively.

3.Constantly looks for ways to improve energy efficiency. Reviews industry practices in this area and presents opportunities to senior management.

4.Supports the effective guest room and other asset preventative maintenance programs and ensures items are completed in a timely basis.

5.Maintains effective communication with key partners and suppliers to ensure the hotel obtains the best quality items and project work and the most effective price for the quality required.

Job Requirements:

1.Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience to put the most effective team together to achieve the objectives.

2.A minimum of 6 years professional work experience with at least 3-4 years in progressive management roles in an international luxury environment.

3.Junior college level education in Engineering with a specialty major such as M&E or related.

4.Basic financial acumen to enable the management of all costs connected through the engineering department.
