FINANCIAL RETURNS
· Identify and evaluate ‘new’ high potential accounts for Business Development team members to manage and develop
· Support the Sales Executive in the allocation of accountsto relevant Business Development team membersandconduct account handover
· Monitor market trends and track competitor activity to support the Business Development team members in their sales activities
· Support the Sales Executive in the development of sales tactics and strategies
· Evaluate accounts according to methodology approved by IHG and submit to Director of Sales for review
PEOPLE
· Share with Business Development team members up-to-date information of the market and competitor activity and how it can be used for selling activities
· Communicate to his/her superior any issues encountered and other relevant information
· Attend and participate in training sessions, daily briefings and other meetings as required

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
· Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community.
· Ensure clear communication through sales system of these accounts and their potential
· Produce periodic reports and forecasts for the team
· Ensure sufficient accounts in the pipeline
