Job Purpose
● To support hotel FC and finance staff to provide guidance and necessary support as when requested by the hotels.
● To solve problems encountered by hotels.
Primary Responsibilities
· According to Accor standard and internal control requirement to go to the hotel for Financial Reviewing.
· To review system set up and accounts reconciliation after 3 month hotel opening to ensure that the hotels are being set up and opened according to Accor standard.
· To support hotels on Finance’s technical; P&Ps and hotel operation by providing guidance to the FCs.
· To support hotels on pre-opening by providing guidance to the Financial controller or assist the GM to prepare the pre-opening budget or operating budget in the absence of Financial Controller.
· To responsible for Recruitment and Removing of hotel Financial controller / Director of Finance.
· Conduct interview of the candidates for Financial Controller / Director of Finance by screening their technical skill.
· Conduct FC orientation for newly join and promote FC.
· Monthly actual result and Drop through review with all hotels in Greater China.
· Review yearly budget with hotels assigned in Greater China.
· To conduct finance annual task list survey on yearly basis to ensure the minimum requirements are met
· Handle any other projects as assigned from time to time
Knowledge and Experience
· Bachelor Degree in Financial & Accounting
· Minimum of 10 years of finance experience in the hotel industry
· Familiar with hotel policy and procedure and internal control requirement, skillful for Sun system; MC; Check EAM Micros and Fidelio / Opera system. Familiar with tax law and accounting principle
· Strong ability in financial management and analysis
· Have good experience on hotel operation and pre-opening.
