As Cluster Director of Engineering, you’ll direct the engineering/maintenance of your hotel and ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and team members – making sure all activities are delivered safely and with compliance. Motivating and training your team with the skills to keep hotels always looking their best.

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department of Intercontinental Shenzhen and Hotel Indigo Shenzhen Venice.
为日常工程需求提供指导，计划和分配工作，确保始终有合适的团队在岗。
•Direct daily engineering needs, planand assign work ensuring you always have the right team inplace.
通过辅导和提供反馈培养团队并提高绩效，为员工制定绩效和发展目标，表彰表现优异的员工。
•Develop your team and improve theirperformance through coaching and feedback, and create performance anddevelopment goals for colleagues - recognise good performance.
与其他部门保持日常的沟通与协调，从而提高团队工作效率和服务质量。
•Promote teamwork and quality servicethrough daily communication and coordination with otherdepartments.
与酒店所有部门领导沟通，了解维修需求，确保及时响应。
Communicate with all hotel department heads to stay informed of maintenance needs and ensure timely responses to requests.
通过密切的监督来确保外部承包商服务的成本有效性和技术效率。确保所有工作的开展严格按照合同，租赁合同，服务协议和相关保证。
•Ensure cost effectiveness and technical efficiency of external contractor services through close supervision. Ensure that all work is carried out in strict accordance with contracts, leases, service agreements and related warranties.

•Oversee the physical operations of thehotel, including maintenance and repair and order parts and supplies in atimely and efficient manner while minimising waste and maintaining “green”initiatives.

•Achieve hotel profitability by ensuring effective management of the building's environmental controls and energy saving systems. Evaluate, control and record energy use, implement and upgrade energy saving systems.

•May be responsible for hotel security to minimise risk of theft, crime and other hazards.

Thisis the top Maintenance/Engineering job in a large, luxury, resort, or majorflagship hotel with multiple sites and facilities, a number of majoroutlets, high-volume catering and convention facilities, and a largenumber of VIP and key guests. Supervises a staff ofmaintenance/engineering tradespersons and contractors. May oversee subordinatemanagers and supervisors.

What we need from you
•受过大学教育或高级职业培训。
•Some college or advanced vocationaltraining.
•四年普通建筑维护和/或建造经验，或教育背景加工作经验达到同等水平。
•Four years’ experience in generalbuilding maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of educationand experience.
•具备管道、电气、机械与木工方面的专业技能。
•Specialised expertise in plumbing,electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields.
•可能需要拥有3级EPA证书或等同证书、HVAC（供热、通风与空调）系统和制冷设备证书，具备管道工资格证和/或熟练电工及木工资质。
•Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC andrefrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status forelectrician and carpenter may be required.
•具有酒店工作经验者优先考虑。
•Hotel experience preferred.
•如有相关法律要求，需持有相关职业证书和资格证。
•Professional certification andlicence if required by law.
