This is a 6-month contractor role.
This role within the Global Finance BI & Information Delivery team is business facing so will require you to build strong relationships particularly with the Finance Centre of Excellence, other Global Finance colleagues, hotels and owners to deliver timely, high quality and insightful financial and non-financial data to our stakeholders. Your primary responsibility is to provide support to hotels, ownership groups, regional revenue management teams and internal stakeholders on benchmarking data and reports, primarily sourced from STR & Hotstats, an external provider of hotel benchmarking data.
Your day to day
Support and coordinate internal databases, performing uploads of data received from vendors and internal sources on a daily/weekly/monthly basisResearch disparities in database information and synchronize database file information to ensure all databases are accurateIndependently work with hotels, owners, or and corporate stakeholders to respond to data requests in a timely manner, which may involve identifying trends for a hotel or segment, interpreting performance data, researching data sources and/or data integrityContinuously monitor the quality and integrity processes to ensure the accuracy of the data and its storage within each database and reporting platform
What we need from you
Bachelor’s degree Demonstrated clear, concise and succinct communication skills, including adapting both verbal and written communication as required.Experience of working in Global teams as well as strong relationship management, verbal and written communication and strategic and analytical skills.Demonstrated proficiency in managing a broad set of data sources, including understanding and documenting data relationships, ensuring data integrity and choosing the appropriate data source.Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent, high-quality customer-focused orientation, including providing clear, accurate information; explaining procedures or materials or providing supplemental information; anticipating problems or questions.Knowledge of hospitality industry preferred
