PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
To actively contribute to the company vision of making holiday dreams come true by assisting with the implementation revenue & distribution strategies and tacts for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (WHR). This role will hotels achieve and where possible exceed revenue targets as budgeted for each property, with a primary emphasis on hotel occupancy & room rate. The role will serve WHR Revenue Management Service participating hotels and assist Regional Revenue Management teams by monitoring compliance to established Revenue Management Policies and Best Practices.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
Proactively maintain knowledge and understanding of global WHR Revenue Management and Distribution strategies, tactics, initiatives, systems, and processes
Help managing, applying, or maintaining effective yield management, rational pricing, and healthy market mix
Understand and guide properties or local revenue representative in the rate loading process, RFPs and promotions. Ensure that rates are loaded according to Brand Standards. Assist properties in ensuring that existing negotiated accounts are represented in Lanyon.
Assist with the management and maintenance of accurate inventory, rates, availability, and restrictions
Internally assist regional managers in the revenue management process for complex properties
Assist with the management and distribution of rates through various channels and systems e.g. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts global CRS, booking engine’s, channel managers & extranet sites
Help monitoring/enhancing hotel yield management on 3rd party websites e.g. Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, etc
Lead calls with the property and or local revenue representative to go over production and performance reports such as Smith Travel or Fairmas and other information as needed to adequately review Mix of Business as well as Market Penetration on a regular basis or as necessary.
May include assignment of specific hotels for review and analysis
Assist with the Datapack set up of pre-opening RM Serviced properties
Help managing campaign activities processes (pre, during, and post)
Oversee campaign company’s balance distribution strategies and work collaboratively with hotels and teams to implement and manage
Help troubleshooting availability, rate, and inventory disparities and providing strategic and technical support to hotels
Help in the preparation and implementation of solutions, tools, procedures, audits, and processes
Prepare accurately the adhoc or regular revenue management and distribution reports and analysis
Perform revenue management analysis; to maximize the revenue of the properties and ensure competitiveness in the market
Participate actively in business meetings/calls
Provide support & ongoing training for stakeholders as required
Communicate strategies and procedures to other departments as required
Carry out other tasks as may reasonably be requested by the Regional Director Revenue & Distribution and Senior Director Revenue, Sales & Marketing
Ensure confidentiality of property rates, contracts, and client information during and post-employment

KEY POSITION CRITERIA:
Ability to work with other divisions & managers within the company
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally & in writing
Ability to determine areas within the business that can be improved upon in order to achieve effective yield and collaborate with relevant teams to implement
Confidence and leadership in role to put forward new initiatives and strategies that will improve on each hotels performance
Exceptional attention to detail
An understanding of the Hospitality & Hotel Industry
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with BI tools is preferred
Ability to work autonomously
Excellent time management, organization & presentation skills
A Team player, willing to be flexible in tasks and hours worked as the role and deadlines require
