【POSITIONSUMMARY】
Plans,directs, controls, co-ordinates and participates in all communicationsactivities including the PR aspect of thecommunications mix.
Underthe general guidance and supervision of the DOM and within the limits ofestablished hotel policies and procedures, promotes and maintains goodcommunications in order to enhance the prestigious image of the hotel and bydoing so contributes to the revenues of the hotel.
【CRITICALTASKS】
1. Develops an annual communications plan with specific goals and budgetsas outlined in the hotel's marketing plan/communications manual. Prepares working plans to achieve goals andensures the communications team is fully briefed on goals and progress.
2. Compares actual achievements against goals on a regular basis and takes corrective action.
3. Assists the DOM in the planning of all mailing activities, and overseestheir execution.
4. Ensures that the compliance with new Renaissance brand ID and keptup-to-date and implemented as appropriate.
5. Conducts on a timely basis the monthly sales & marketing“communications” meeting with the involvement of F&B, Spa, Recreation andHR.
6. Supervises and directs photography for advertising, collateral andpublic relations purposes in liaison with the DOM, the advertising agency andthe field marketing department at corporate office.
7. Ensures the department has a comprehensive master slide/photo/CD libraryfor all advertising, collateral and public relations activities, and regularlysends these to corporate office for the image library.
8. Supervises operations of the in-house art department.
9. Submit a monthly report with content agreed upon with DOM.
10. Performsadditional related duties as deemed necessary and appropriate to the communications status.
