The receiving staffmust ensure that all goods received by the Hotel have been properly ordered andthe goods meet the prescribed quality set by the various user departments. The quantities received must be verified andarrange for goods received to be placed into hotel storeroom or to be collectedby concerned department as soon as possible. To safeguard hotel assets againstrisk of theft, spoilage or damage.
