· Process allincoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously
· Records andcontrols accurately wake up calls
· Pages guests inco-operation with concerned departments
· Records all entrieson traffic sheets
· Assists guests withinternational calls and directory queries
· Calls guests byname whenever possible
· Pages staff memberwhen requested
· Abides byprinciples of guest privacy
· Handles guestsneeds or requests and reports complaints to the Telephone Supervisor

· Aware of localtelephone listings and frequently dialed numbers
· Strictly abides bystandards policies and procedures governing cases of emergency such as fire,bomb scare and other critical situations
· Advises defects onswitchboard equipment to Supervisor
· Maintains a cleanwork environment
· Attends to allguest queries and requests promptly
· Maintains detailedknowledge of the Hotel’s fire, life and safety system
· Maintains detailedknowledge on the Emergency Response Team and workings of the telephone room inthis regard
