I. General
The Digital Content Officer’s main responsibilityis to grow the school brand visibility and online influence. In collaborationwith the team, the incumbent will oversee the creation and development of aneffective digital marketing strategy. The incumbent will be responsible ofcreating photo and video content, power-points for events, weekly updates, EDMsetc and support other AMC team members where needed.
II. Job Responsibilities
Marketing (75%)
· Promote the school brand by producing highquality videos on a weekly basis, including regular videos for school'sofficial channels and short videos for social media channels.
· Create termly media plan.
· Prepare termly video shooting schedule.
· In collaboration with the team, build andexecute all marketing campaignsand event promotional plans.
· Create Weekly Highlights videos.
· In collaboration with the team, support the creationof video scripts that align with our overall digital marketing strategy andbrand guidelines.
· Responsible for creating regular emailcommunication.
· Research and report on competitors’ media strategy.
· Liaise with outsourced digital marketing agency andoversee the optimisation of our digital marketing activities.
Events (15%)
· Deal with outsourcing photo and video vendorswhen needed to ensure the quality of the production.
· Prepare video playlist for admissions and marketingevents.
· Prepare PPTs for marketing and admissions events.
· Supporting the academic team in preparing PPTs and videos for parent events.
Administration(5%)
· Process contracts with media channels andoutsourced photo and video vendors.
· Support with regular staff photo taking.
Other (5%)
· Support other AMC team members with design workand other tasks when required.
III. Qualifications, Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Essential
· Bachelor’s degree andabove.
· Creativethinking, have a keen sense of the hot topics in the market.
· Strong photo and video editing skills. Familiaritywith using video-editing software is a must. Experience with handling videoproduction equipment.
· Strong design skills and familiarity with using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere (Applicantsshould attach a link to previous design portfolio).
· Understanding of visual elements (layout,type and fonts) and attention to details.
· Familiarity with usingmultimedia assets in digital marketing.
· Experience with DigitalMarketing (SEO, SEM, website marketing, etc...)
· Strong communication skills.
· Working experience in a new media company,marketing, or international education preferred.
· Native Chinese speaker with good command ofwritten and spoken English preferred.
