About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai within the People & Culture Department, The Director of People & Culture reports to the General Manager.
As Director of People & Culture you will be responsible for the following duties:
The Director of People & Culture is responsible for the overall daily P&C operation including People & Culture and Learning & Development of the Hotel.
As Director of People & Culture, we expect from you:
Bachelor and above in Hotel Management / Human Resources Management / PsychologyCertificate in law is desirableCertified trainer in management programsAt least 8-10 years in Human Resources in service industry, preferably in international 5-star hotelExperience in handling labor unionThorough knowledge of modern Human Resources tools and techniquesExcellent communicationAbility to manage and motivate a large diverse group of colleaguesAbility to act as change agent, result drivenStrong analytical skills and negotiation skillsWell verse in PRC labor lawsComputer literate in basic MS office softwareFluent in English and Mandarin
