The Sales Manager handles groups more than 10 guestrooms, as well as the catering in house. Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Business Development =, implements all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in his/her specific area of responsibility.

1. Implements all sales action plans related to the respective market (by segment and geographical locations) as outlined in the Marketing plan.

2. Actively participates in achieving the departmental goals which contribute to the marketing budget.

3. Closely monitors accounts revenue and business production for Corporate / FIT / M.I.C.E. accounts.

4. Maximises up-selling opportunities whenever possible.

5. Assists the Senior Sales Manager and DOS in theforecasting of rooms’ revenue and ADR for Corporate / FIT / M.I.C.E. / LSG (Long Staying Guests) groups.

6. Attends major travel functions and promotional events (i.e. trade shows) and promotes sales (rooms, catering, and otherfacilities and services) for the hotel.
