Accountant, AR Collection

What will I be doing? Position Summary (bullet points)
Asthe Accountant, AR collection, you will be responsible for performing thefollowing tasks to the highest standards:
· ReceivableCollection:
o Mainly Responsiblefor receivables’ collection for Affiliated fees which billed locally from HEMentity.
· CreditAnalysis and Control:
o Work closelywith UK OTC team,local AR billing team to betterunderstand the billing items, timing and Fapiao issuing status.
o Provideguidance or support for hotels who have any issues/questions on receivablematters.
o Collectcomments from hotels regarding receivables, manage any outstanding invoices andfollow up with related dept, RDFs and Ops team.
o Exercisejudgment in identifying and escalating matters to managers attention and above.
o Consolidateand summarize major issues to raise in the monthly receivable meeting.
o Prepares andissues credit risk assessments and makes recommendations.
o Work withLegal team to prepare reminder letters, legal default letters and deliver torespective hotels/owners.
· Reporting:
o Prepare receivable reports by fee categoriesand other required customized reports.
o Analyse credit risks and trends on settled andunsettled receivables.
· LocalStatutory Filings and Compliance:
o Co-operatewith Internal and External Audit, assist the Financial Controller in theexternal audit process.
o Check confirmationletters from hotels and related vendors.
· Other:
o SupportFinancial Controller on any ad-hoc tasks.
