About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai within the Reservations Department, The Director of Revenue reports to the General Manager, with a dotted line to the Regional Director of Revenue Strategy.
As Director of Revenue you will be responsible for the following duties:
The Director of Revenue Management will provide the hotel with key revenue management decisionsby implementing the MOHG revenue management system (both manual and automated)and ensuring both maximization of revenues and thus, profitability for the property.
As Director of Revenue, we expect from you:
4 year college or university degree in business, mathematics or hospitality management Excellent overall communication skills
Strong mathematical andanalytical skills
Knowledge and grasp of hoteldistribution systems (GDS, internet, etc.)
Able to multi-task
The ability to work well in ateam environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Able to communicate written andspoken English
