职位描述
1. To be responsible forthe daily supervision of the restaurant, concentrating on service procedure andquality of product.

2. To liaise with directly Housekeeping and Engineering regardingthe upkeep, repairs and maintenance of all furniture,fixtures and operating equipment.

3. To conduct training andskills development programs, to ensure well trained staff offering excellentservice to the guest at all times.

5. To maintain a breakageprevention program designed to minimize breakage of operating equipment, and toliaise directly with the ChiefSteward and recommend changes to policies or procedures if needed

6. To ensure all staffattend English Training classes, and meet the required English language levelfor their positions.

8. To maintain a closecustomer contact to ensure satisfaction and recognitionof regular guests.

9. To oversee allpresentation of Food and Beverage products, ensure that they meet the standardsas laid down by the policies of the Hotel.

14. Ensure that all Buffetset ups are correct, fresh and appealing, and to ensure that all set ups are asper the standards outlined in the operating policy and as required by theExecutive Chef.

15. To assist the restaurantmanager in spot checks of the restaurant to ensure that all repairs andmaintenance has been carried out, reporting any new areas that need attention

16. To ensure that allmenu's are clean, neat and tidy, free from marks and dirt, stains or watermarks. Replacing any menu with a new one as required.

17. To ensure that all staffreport for work as per the posted roster, and that all leave and sick leaverequests are handed to the Restaurant Manager.

19. Must always checkpersonal hygiene and be well groomed in appearance, as per the groomingstandards of the hotel and the department.

20. Must always maintain aprofessional image at all times, be friendly and smiling at all times when incontact with guests and staff alike.

21. When presenting menus toguests or answering guest questions as to the menu content, the person must befully aware of all menu items and services that are offered, and be able to explainthem accordingly.

22. Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
