3.To be responsible for the proper efficiency and profitable functioning of the kitchen,ensuring that the functions are provided in the highest food quality, consistent with cost control and profitability margins all work is carried out in line with the hotel’s guidelines, the departmental business plan and hotel corporate guidelines and service concepts. Enforces the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene in all associate related satellite kitchens, supports the Executive Sous Chef actively in creating modern associate restaurant menus

4.Ensure that menus are not just creative and original but are adapted to the local market using fresh and seasonal products during the creation of promotional menus.

5.During every shift, the Chef de cuisine must be able to show his W attitude and socialize with guests who are enjoying a meal in the venue. The Chef De Cuisine will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained. As Chef De Cuisine, he must lead his team by example with a true and positive attitude and overcome any challenges presented to him.

6.Insure proper trainings to his team and F.O.H Talent to ensure a W experience to our guests.

7.Participate in corporate initiatives and external culinary events, as well as assist in the marketing of the food and beverage venues when necessary.

9. Schedules working hours of all kitchen talents with approval of Executive Sous Chef, taking into consideration the volume of expected business. Arranges extra talents during high volume of business if warranted by unexpected business or dismisses them earlier if business is slow.

10. Train regularly all talents and make sure that they fulfil their given tasks at all times.

11. Accepts flexible working hours according to the business demand.

12. Attends meetings and trainings required by the Executive Sous Chef.

13. Assigns in details, specific duties to Chef de Cuisine or subordinates and instructs them in their work.

14. Carries out full stock taking at the end of each month in collaboration with the cost control department.

15. Insists on personal cleanliness and proper discipline of all talents under his direct supervision.

16. To be responsible for the quality of all food prepared in NINE. Checks constantly all dishes for its taste, temperature and visual appearance. Make sure that all dishes are uniformed and that established portion sizes are adhered to.

17. Coordinates closely with the Executive Sous Chef in determining quality and quantity of daily food products to be purchased and prepared. Informs the Executive Sous Chef immediately for out of stock items or none delivered food products
